  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 1 small yellow onion, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

Instructions:

1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes, until they soften and release their juices.

2. Add the onion and garlic and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.

3. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir to combine. Cook for 1 minute, then slowly pour in the vegetable broth and soy sauce, stirring constantly.

4. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 8-10 minutes until thickened. Serve hot over your favorite Thanksgiving dishes. Enjoy!
