HCG Diet

The HCG diet is a weight-loss plan requiring participants to consume very few calories daily, usually only around 500. This severe calorie restriction is often accompanied by injections of the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin or HCG. Although the diet may result in short-term weight loss, it is not a sustainable or healthy way to lose weight. The HCG diet can have severe consequences on your health.
A drastic reduction in calorie intake can lead to malnutrition and other health problems. Additionally, the long-term risks of HCG injections are not fully understood and may be linked to an increased risk of certain cancers. Finally, the diet’s restrictions can be difficult to maintain over time, leading to yo-yo dieting and fluctuating weight. For these reasons, the HCG diet is not a safe or healthy way to lose weight.
